About The Event

• Competitive, development focused youth basketball league

• Emphasis on fundamentals, overall basketball IQ and basic gameplay

• Positive, disciplined and high energy

• Ideal for players looking to compete and improve the right way

League Highlights

• Consistent playing time: Quarters 1,2 & 3 are equal playing time for all players.

  No time requirements for the 4th quarter, coaches can play any combination of their players the entire 4th quarter.

• Character coaching: All B.E.S.T. Hoops coaches are at minimum current or former high school level coaches.

• Saturday only convenience: Skills session, practice and games take place on Saturdays only. No random weeknight practices.

• Late game situations: Every B.E.S.T. Hoops game will be 4 quarters long (8 minutes each quarter). If the game is a single digit margin (9 points or less) with less than 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, the clock will stop on all out of bounds plays, free throws and foul calls. We encourage the overall development of our players basketball IQ. Learning how to manage the clock is essentail, especially in late game situations!

• Superior facilities: Each and every B.E.S.T. Hoops Youth League game will take place in the Athletic Center or The Barn on the beautiful campus of Oakwood School. Located in Morgan Hill, CA.

• Regular Season: March 28, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9

  • 5 PM - 6 PM: Skills Clinic

  • 6:15 PM - 8:00 PM: Team Practice & Game

• Playoff Week: May 16

  • 5 PM - 5:30 PM: Team Practice

  • 5:45 PM - 6:45 PM: Playoffs, 1st Round

  • 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Championship Game
